Hamza Arabi is a fourth year Accounting and Finance student at the Ted Rogers School of Management and this will be Hamza’s third year on RUFS. Hamza is also part of the Co-op program in the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) and just finished his last co-op term at TD Securities Inc. as a Sales & Trading Associate. Following an incredible year as a Finance Director for the Ryerson University Finance Society, Hamza is excited to return as the President for this upcoming year. Hamza looks forward to an amazing year with a dedicated team. Hamza aims to further connect and inspire undergraduates at TRSM about a career in finance, and equip them with the essential tools and skills to launch their career. In his free time,

Ravneet is going into her third year of the Accounting and Finance Program at TRSM and is pursuing a Finance Major and Economics Minor. Following a successful year as the Battle on Bay Associate on RUFS last year, Ravneet is very excited to return as the Executive Vice President for the upcoming year. Ravneet hopes to further enrich the experience of students at TRSM by inspiring and educating undergraduate students about all the different opportunities and career paths available in the fast growing finance industry. Ravneet is working towards getting her CFA and hopes to work in the Risk Management sector in the future.In her spare time, Ravneet likes to binge watch Netflix, bake cheesecake, and spend time with her friends and family. Ravneet is also a huge Harry Potter enthusiast.

This will be Jez's second year on the RUFS team. She joined RUFS because she wanted to be part of something that helps fellow TRSM students. Jez believes that RUFS is the perfect resource for Finance majors as it continues to build bridges between students and industry professionals through various events and enhances financial skills through case competitions.
As this year’s Battle on Bay Co-Chair, Jez is eager to see this milestone RUFS event come to life once again (and so should you!). Outside of RUFS, she is a 3rd year Finance co-op student and had just secured her first work placement as an analyst at CST Consultants in North York. When she graduates she hopes to become a CPA and work in the hustling and bustling Bay Street.

Mrugen is a 3rd year finance student and is entering his first year with the RUFS team. He joined RUFS because he loved the events he attended, the members of the team, and to also broaden his professional network. As one of the Co-Chairs for Battle on Bay, his goal for this year is to make Battle on Bay the best case competition at Ryerson University and potentially one of the best finance case competitions in Ontario. Upon graduating, Mrugen's future aspirations are to receive his CFA designation and eventually become a portfolio manager.

Don is a 3rd year Business Management student, majoring in Law and Business and minoring in Human Resources Management. He joined RUFS to become more active in the school community and to further his leadership skills. He is very excited about taking on his new role as Marketing Co-Director and looks forward to having an amazing yearwith the RUFS family.

This is Jenna's second year on RUFS. In her second year, she took part in the internal case competition and went on to join the team because this event provided her with feedback and skills that could be translated into both school and professional life. She hopes to give other students great opportunities through RUFS and to expand her network.
Jenna was a national level gymnast and now coaches the sport.
Previously serving as the Battle on Bay Co-Chair this past year, Kerry is very excited to be part of RUFS again, taking on the new role as the Co-Director of Events. With a passion for event planning, she looks forward to bringing her unique ideas to make this year's events better than ever!

This is Victoria's first year with the team and she looks forward to the journey ahead with the RUFS family. Taking on her role, she wants to help RUFS host exciting and amazing events as well as to grow professionally. Victoria wants to pursue both the CPA and CFA designations in the near future.

Finance is Rewa's passion. She will work to ensure TRSM students find the right guidance and valuable experiences at RUFS. Her future aspirations are to become an investment banker and travel the world.

Daniel is a 3rd year student at the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM). He is very excited to embark on this new opportunity as a Corporate Relations Associate on the RUFS team. As this is his first year being involved with a student society, Daniel is determined to make his mark within the group and at Ryerson as a whole. This year, his main goals are to further enhance the relationship between alumni and students and to effectively prepare students for the financial world. Daniel is an active athlete and musician. In his free time, he enjoys archery, biking, watching sports and listening to podcasts.
Daniel participates in the CN Tower Stair Climb every year for WWF.

Isabella is a hard working student who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. She is looking forward to planning the best alumni gala of the decade in her position as Alumni Director. Isabella hopes to help students at Ted Rogers School of Management to explore and discover career opportunities in finance while making lasting memories and unforgettable connections. In Isabella's spare time she enjoys trying new things and meeting new people. Extreme sports are her favourite pass time.

Jake is an aspiring CFP interested in specializing in taxation and retirement planning. He applied for this role because he has had the opportunity to compete in the Junior Ace Competition twice and wanted to be part of organizing this event. As a member of this team, he hopes to have a positive impact on other finance students.
Jake once almost had a search party look for him when he made a wrong turn towards a destination requiring no turns.
Radhika is going into her 2nd year of the Accounting and Finance program. She is extremely eager to be the Finance Associate for the RUFS team from 2017-2018. She believes getting involved with this amazing student group will be highly beneficial towards her social and professional development. Radhika is also the events associate for RUAS and she hopes to increase TRSM's student engagement through these student groups.

This is Rukshan's first year with RUFS. He decided to join RUFS because he wanted to be on the Battle on Bay team. After competing in various case competitions an attending many conferences, he wanted to use his knowledge, skills, and experience to help put together a case competition and conference.

This is Meaghan's first year on the RUFS team. She joined this society because since coming to Ryerson last year, she wanted to be part of a community on campus. Now that she has accomplished that, her next goal is to make the 2018 Battle on Bay case competition as successful and memorable as possible!

This is Simran's first year as a member of the RUFS team. She wanted to be part of a team that provides finance students with opportunities such as case competitions and various resources . After taking part in case competitions as a delegate, it is great to be part of the planning and execution process. As a RUFS member, Simran hopes to engage with diverse groups of people, enhance her soft skills and get more involved in the Ryerson community.

As a new member of RUFS and a student aspiring to work in finance, Helen is excited to assist the students at TRSM for an enriching and valuable school experience. Isabella, she hopes to contribute in organizing and making the annual Alumni Gala a successful one.

This is Taha's first year on the RUFS team. He believes that being part of RUFS will be extremely beneficial to his social and professional growth as he will meet new peopleand expand his network.
After 5 years of hard work and perseverance, Taha achieved his black belt in Karate last year.
This is Sehaj's first year as a RUFS member. He is looking to gain further experience while on the team. He is currently pursuing a CPA and is working as a Finance Assistant for Ryerson University's Housing Department

With her experience in event planning, Marlene is eager and incredibly excited to work with RUFS as an Events Associate. This is Bethlehem's first year on RUFS. Bethlehem joined RUFS as a way to get involved in the Ryerson Community and as a way to expand her network to include both industry professionals and fellow Ryerson students.

Renier is the type of person who is shy at the beginning but once you get to know him, he tends to be really open. As for his future aspirations, he hopes to travel around the world so that he is able to gain inspiration and experience different countries and cultures to create different graphic design content, such as patterns or illustrations.
Renier is able to play the guitar whether it is just chords or music sheets.
With her keen interest in finance and love for design, Kim joined RUFS as part of the Marketing team to become more involved with the finance-related events at Ryerson.

Artem is in his fourth of five years in the Law & Business Co-op program at Ryerson. Artem is excited to begin his third year on RUFS as an Honorary Council member, and hopes to make a robust impact on the team throughout the year. Upon graduation, Artem wishes to pursue a Canadian law school, with an ultimate aspiration of working at a venture capitalist firm. In his spare time, Artem likes to play poker, travel to the Caribbean, and play sports whenever possible. Artem once had a dream of pursuing a career in soccer which was eventually taken over by the fun of school.

Shivani is a creative and ambitious person who joined RUFS to be able to create a legacy and give back to the school. This is her second year on the team and her first year as a graduated honorary member. Currently, Shivani is working towards her CFA designation and looks forward to the RUFS events this year.
